Slow Cooker Onion & Honey Barbecue Pulled Chicken Sandwich


2 1/2 pounds chicken breast tenderloins

32 ounces honey barbecue sauce

1 cup Italian salad dressing

1/2 cup brown sugar

4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 large sweet onion, thinly sliced

1 tbsp garlic, finely chopped

smoked cheddar, grated


Place chicken in a slow cooker.

 In a bowl, combine the barbecue sauce, Italian dressing, brown sugar, and Worcestershire. 

Pour sauce over the chicken and cover with lid. Cook 6-8 hours on low or 3-4 hours on high.

During the last 2 hours of cooking, add sliced onions and garlic to slow cooker. 

Remove chicken from the slow cooker and shred using two forks.

Return the chicken to the slow cooker to coat with sauce.
Serve on toasted rolls and sprinkle with grated cheese.
