Stir fried jasmine rice, chicken, egg, cashews, pineapple, onions, tomatoes, green peas, carrots, curry powder, raisins~This dish was so good!
Just by chance we stopped by this little hole in the wall Thai restaurant while we were driving around in Port Townsend during our spring break. Let me start by saying that not only is the food amazing, but the servings are HUGE! Most entree items are $8.95, but like I said, the servings are large so you will have to share.
A little close up of this tasty dish...don't you just want to take a bite?
We ordered pad thai, pineapple fried rice (AMAZING!), spring rolls, and the black rice pudding (sounds odd, but it is delicious!). They can adjust your spice from 1-4.
Fresh Rolls (Salad Rolls)-Thai rice noodles, tofu, carrot, basil, bean sprouts, cucumber, celery, lettuce, wrapped in rice paper and served with hoisin sauce.
Pad Thai-Stir fried rice noodles, egg, bean sprouts, scallions, and ground peanuts in a sweet and savory tamarind sauce.
We ordered a "3" and everything was just right. Not overly greasy, really fresh ingredients, and terrific service. The owners are friendly and talkative. I give this restaurant a 4/5. Very casual restaurant, but it is perfect for lunch, a casual dinner or take-out...
you will not be disappointed!
Black Rice Pudding-Thai Jasmine rice with sweet red beans and blended with a creamy coconut topping and sesame seeds. Not overly sweet and paired with the saltiness from the coconut topping made this a perfect Thai dessert!
