Quick & Delicious~Sweetly Spiced Pineapple Glazed Easter Ham
Ingredients:
1 (about 10-pound) cooked, smoked ham
20 ounce can crushed pineapple with juice
1 cup(s) light brown sugar
1/4-1/2 tsp ground cloves, adjust to taste
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place ham in a pan, cover with foil, and roast for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Adjust time depending on exact size of your ham.
Meanwhile, make glaze by bringing pineapple chunks and juice, brown sugar, and ground cloves to a boil in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat. Gently boil until thickened and reduced by about half, approximately 30 minutes.
Brush ham with glaze and roast for 15 minutes; then repeat, for a total roasting time of 30 minutes. Broil ham for approximately 3 minutes to caramelize the glaze. Remove ham from oven and let rest for 15 minutes. Carve ham into slices and enjoy!
