Gingerbread Cookies from New Gourmet Recipes

It's that time of year again! After Thanksgiving I begin to think about great cookie recipes for cookie exchanges and Christmas family get togethers. I used to have an amazing gingerbread cookie recipe that was lost many years ago when we moved. The only thing I can remember about the recipe is that it had vinegar in it.  What I loved about the recipe is that the dough held its shape really well.  it was the prefect gingerbread recipe for intricate cookie cutter designs.  After looking over many recipes, I believe that I have found the next great gingerbread recipe.
