Lisa's Quick & Easy Crusty French Bread
Ingredients:
1 1/2 Tbsp yeast
2 c warm water
1 Tbsp sugar
1 Tbsp salt
5-6 c flour
Directions:
Combine yeast, sugar and water and let poof. Combine other ingredients, then mix all together. Knead for 7-10 minutes. Raise until double in size. Punch down and shape. Let raise a second time for 30 minutes. Place in an oven that has not been preheated. Set temperature at 400 degrees and bake for approximately 30-35 minutes. Remove from oven and slice with a very sharp bread knife. Serve with butter and enjoy!
