Quick & Delicious Pub Fries


1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1 package Simply Potatoes® Red Potato Wedges


1. In small bowl stir together salt, thyme, paprika and garlic powder. Set aside.

2. Heat oil in deep fat fryer or large deep saucepan* to 370°F. Carefully add ½ of Simply Potatoes to hot oil. Cook, turning potatoes occasionally, 4 to 8 minutes, or until potatoes are light golden brown. Carefully remove potatoes; drain on paper towel. Quickly sprinkle Simply Potatoes with half of seasoning mixture.

2. Repeat with remaining Simply Potatoes. Serve with malt vinegar.

Tips: *If using a deep saucepan use 1 ½ cups of oil. For a healthier alternative you can bake these fries. Baking Simply Potatoes Red Potato Wedges takes the fat from 5g per serving down to 2g.

To bake: Heat oven to 425°F. Spray 15x10x1-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Coat Simply Potatoes with 1 tablespoon oil. Sprinkle seasoning evenly over potatoes; toss to coat well. Spread potatoes out on the pan. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown and tender.
