Savory Yumminess...Bacon, Cheese, and Onion Scones

Ingredients:

All purpose flour — 3 cups
Margarine — ¼ cup
Sugar — ¼ cup
Salt — 1 teaspoon
Baking powder — 1 ¼ tablespoons
Milk — 1-¼ cups
Cheese, grated — 2 cups, firmly packed
Diced bacon — 1 cup firmly packed
Onion chopped — 1 cup
Eggs — 2
Parsley flakes — 2 teaspoons

Directions:

Pre-heat oven to 350-375 degrees.
Mix together flour, margarine, sugar, salt and baking powder (rub margarine through dry ingredients).
Mix in milk to form a soft dough.

Allow 10 minutes for dough to rest.

Roll out to an approximately 15 x 12 inch rectangle, that is approximately 1 1/2-2 inch thick.

In a bowl, mix cheese, onion, bacon, eggs and parsley.
Spread evenly over dough.

Roll up like a log, then using a bread knife, cut slices approximately 1 1/2-2 inches thick.

Place on greased  baking tray,  allowing  room for each to spread,  and  bake for approximately 15-18 minutes at 350-375 degrees.

Butter them and eat them while they're hot — with a slice of cheese, there's nothing like them!
